Bio
Márcia is a Texas-based figurative artist exploring ways of expressing narrative imagery working mainly with oil paint and charcoal. She received her BFA in Drawing and Painting with an Illustration Emphasis from the Laguna College of Art and Design and continues to create.
Artist Statement
Her work deals with figures in domestic environments. She wants to highlight the connection between the human experience and the home, exploring themes through the lens of the household and its dynamics.
